DaBaby incepe anul in forta cu single-ul „Masterpiece”, in care abordează pe scurt implicarea sa în controversatul subiect Walmart din noiembrie 2018.
Produs de catre DA Got That Dope, melodia de trei minute cu o energie incredibila atinge si incidentul din urma cu aproximativ trei ani, in urma caruia DaBaby a fost acuzat ca a impuscat o femeie, insa acuzatiile au fost retrase in 2019, pentru ca a fost un accident.

In aprilie 2020, DaBaby a lansat albumul „Blame it On Baby”, iar de-a lungul anului ce a trecut, artisutl a colaborat cu Dua Lipa, Kanye West si Moneybagg Yo.
